Japan Recession Looms 

    Now to Japan and the chances of that economy heading into recession are growing. GDP for the three months to September fell naught point six percent rather than the naught point two percent increase the government was hoping for. Those figures come as the Bank of Japan prepares to decide on interest rates on Friday. Analysts say the best hope for economic revival seems to be the yen staying weak and helping exporters.
