The Bank of Japan has downgraded its assessment of Japan’s faltering economy for a second month. This will fuel a speculation that managing policy could be eased in the coming months after the BOJ ignored government calls to do so last week. According to its monthly report, economic adjustments, which is considered a euphemism for slowdown, have intensified.
