大家都明白，英语中有很多我们所不知道用法，而且有很多还非常的常用，如果我们不了解这方面的东西，很多时候我们都会不知所云的喔：）下面请看……

et al. （……等等）

这是个拉丁文片语的缩写，完整的写法是et alii，译成英文是and others。因为是缩写，所在在al后面要加一个缩写点。写过研究论文的人都知道，编列书目时，如果一本书的作者不只一个人，可以只列出主要的执笔者，在此人名字后面加上et al.，表示“等等”，就不必一一列出所有的人。

reinvent the whell （做重复的工作）

字面意思是“再发明一次轮子”。轮子这个东西，有人称为人类文明史上最伟大的发明。对于早已经存在的东西，还要再发明一次，那完全是重复的工作，白费力气。reinvent the wheel就是指浪费资源与人力重复进行无意义的事。
