我的家庭
MY FAMILY

I was born in a good and happy family. We have altogether six persons, namely, my parents, my elder brother, my two younger sisters, and myself.

My father is a respectable merchant. He goes to his office every day from morn till evening, and he dines out. He is very busy and seldom at home except after office hours and on holidays and Sundays. My mother is very busy, too, for she takes care of housework. But she also feels lonely when my brother and sisters and myself go to school.

At night, after supper, it is the happiest and liveliest moment in our family. We children all sit around a table to listen to our parents telling us stories or to enjoy some music.

Then my father reads his newspaper; my mother plays her piano; all of us children do our home work.

我出生于一个良好的家庭。我们共有六个人，就是，我的父母，我的长兄，我的两个妹妹，我自己。

我的父亲是一位体面商人，他每天从晨至晚到他的办事处去，他在外面吃饭的。他很忙，除了在办事时间以后，及假日，鲜在家中。我的母亲也很忙碌，因为她要照管家务。但当我的兄、妹和我去上学时，她又觉得孤寂了。

晚间，晚餐后，是我们家庭中最快乐最有生气的时候。我们孩子们围绕着桌子坐着，听我们父母亲讲故事，或欣赏音乐。

然后，我的父亲读他的报纸；我的母亲奏钢琴；我们孩子们做夜课。
