A: Hello! 或 Hi ! ( 哈啰! )

B: Is Jenny there?

较礼貌的说法是:

May (Can) I speak to Jenny ?

珍妮在吗?(语调上扬)

A: Speaking. Jenny's speaking.

我就是,说吧!

A: Can you hold? One moment please.

I want to check if she(he) is home?

你能稍等一下吗?

我要去确认他(她)在不在家?

May I ask who is calling?O.K.I am going to get her.

我可以问你是谁吗?好,我去叫她.

如果对方不在时,你可以这样说：

A: Sorry, she is not here.

抱歉,她现在不在

B: When will she be back？

她何时会回来?

A: Sorry, she is busy at the moment. (对方正忙时)

抱歉,她现在正在忙

B: When is a better time to call back？

我何时在打会比较好?
