The next day, Gimi, Holly and Yi-jun are outside the haunted house
Gimi: Wow, if I were still a little kid, I would have wet my pants.
Holly:That was nothing. Wait until we go to the one Bryan is working on.
Gimi: I kept flashing photos of the guys who jumped out at us. I wonder how they'll turn out.
Holly:Awesome, as usual. [smiles] Are you guys ready to leave? I've got a surprise planned!
Gimi:Yes, but before we go, I bought tickets for just the two of us for this hayride.
Holly: [Blushes] You're such a romantic.

★ flash (v.)
★ turn out 结果
★ hayride (n.)
★ blush (v.)
★ romantic (n.)

Following the success of the first novel, Arsene Lupin kept his creator busy for the next quarter of a century. The last book in the 20-book series, “the Billions of Arsene Lupin,” came out in 1933. Leblanc died in the south of France eight years later.

I'd like the one on the dummy.

I'd like the one on the dummy.(我想要人体模型身上的那件衣服)。

Brian: I'd like to buy a shirt please.
Vivian: Certainly. Which one from the collection would you like?
Brian: I'd like the one on the dummy.
Vivian: Dummy? We don't have any dummies here, this is a fashion show.
Brian: No, I meant that guy over there. Actually, I've always thought that male models were kind of stupid. I'd like it in red.

I'd like the one on the dummy。 I've always thought that male models were kind of stupid(我总觉得男模特儿是呆子)。

(1) I'm kind of/sort of tired. I need a rest(我有点累,要休息一下)。(2) I kinda/sorta like him(我有些喜欢他)。

Why don't you say anything? Are you a dummy?(你为什么一言不发?

This suit looks good on the mannequin/dummy(这套西装穿在假模特儿身上很好看)。
