Nell: Dad bought them for me. And these, too. They're slimy plastic toads! Holly: Ew! Uh, I think you should flash those at anyone who tries to give junk candy. Nell: Hah! This will be so much fun. This costume's much cooler than the pink ballerina costume mom made last year. Holly: Yeah, but you need a witch's laugh. Try this-Yiyahahaha! Nell: Or this “I'll get you, my pretty! Wahahhaha!” Holly: Sounds like you're a natural. [to Yi-jun] Sure you don't want to go out trick or treating?

★ slimy (a.) 芭蕾舞女演员 ★ I'll get you my pretty. I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog, too!

Many myths surround the mysteries of pregnancy. For example, people have developed a lot of folk wisdom about predicting a baby's sex. One old wives' tale that has endured is that if a woman carries her unborn baby low, then it will be a boy. Actually, the shape and height of a woman' belly during pregnancy is determined by her muscle tone and the position the baby is in.

She was all over him.
She was all over him.(她对他大献殷勤)。 She couldn't keep her hands off him.(她按不住对他毛手毛脚)或She threw herself at him.(她把自己投向他),都是表示‘她想极力讨好他’。
Joe: Did you see Vivian with Adrian just then? She was all over him. Helen: You have nothing to worry about, she doesn't like him. Joe: Oh no? Look now, she's got her hands all over him again. Helen: That's nothing. She's just looking for his “Lai See” packets. Such a gold digger. Joe: Oh, I see.
She was all over him。To be all over somebody或to fall all over somebody是俚语,意思是‘对某人大献殷勤’或‘热烈嘉许某人’,例如:(1) My parents were all over me because I had risked my life to care the old lady(我冒生命危险拯救那老太太,父母亲对我十分嘉许)。(2) When the beautiful girl appeared, the boys fell all over her.(那美丽的女郎到场时,小伙子都向她大献殷勤)。
To dance attendance on somebody。 A nurse attended on me即‘我有一名女护士照顾’;dance是‘跳舞’,喻举动之轻快,例如:Didn't you notice that he danced attendance on your sister / his rich aunt ?(你不见他向令妹 / 他富裕的姑母大献殷勤吗?)
Chivalrous to all the ladies, he appeared to be a real gentleman.(他对所有女士都殷勤有礼,看来是位真君子)。
