James: He's only interested in harassing you. How can he expect us to have so much time to waste?
Jess: I almost want to send him a virus to shut his stupid computer down.
James: As obnoxious as Bean is, we should still try to finish this case.
Jess: True-well, do you have any forwards for me to send him?
James: Yeah! Remember that one about putting light bulbs in your mouth?

★ virus (n.) 病毒
★ shut down 关机

In April of this year, a dust storm that originated in China and Mongolia took a six-day journey across more than ten thousand kilometers of sea and open land to Arizona in the United States. The cloud was so dense that it seemed as if the sun were setting early. At least one person thought a volcano had erupted.

I've got itchy feet.

I've strong desire to travel.(我有强烈去旅行的欲望)/ I got the travel bug.(我得了旅游虫),也就是不可不去旅游。/ I've got wanderlust.(我有旅游癖)。

Holly: Ah, I'm glad we came for this foot massage.
Laura: I knew you'd enjoy it.
Holly: Speaking of which, are you still going on that cruise next month?
Laura: I hope so. I've got itchy feet. It's been a year since my last holiday. Stop, stop! That tickles!
Masseur: Sorry, madam. I thought you said you had itchy feet.

作名词,‘发痒’是to have an itch,‘搔痒’是to scratch / rub an itch;作动词,可解作‘使发痒’或‘发痒’,例如:(1) I've got an itch on my back. Could you scratch it for me? (我背部发痒,可以替我搔搔么?)(2) The mosquito bite itched.(被蚊子叮处发痒)。(3) My back itches / is itching terribly.(我背部痒得厉害)。

说心痒痒想做一件事,英文是to have an itch to do something或to itch / to be itching to do something;想得到一些东西,则是to have an itch for something或to itch / to be itching for something,例如:(1) The children are itching to play with the little dog.(孩子们心痒痒的想跟小狗玩耍)。(2) He has an itch for fame.(他渴望成名)。

(1) His itchy feet brought him to practically every part of the world. (2) I've been in this job for so long that I'm starting to get itchy feet.(我做这份工作做了很久,想到别处闯闯了)。

(2) He has an itchy palm.(他很贪财)。
