Every day, visually impaired workers here make hundreds of calls to customers, offering the services of Tata Indicom, one of India's domestic telephone companies.
Assimilating the visually impaired has always been difficult, with the United States often cited as an example of what can be done with the help of modern technology. Now call centers in India are trying to do the same by using technology to employ the blind.  VOA's Ravi Khanna has the story.
